1. You've grown bigger since I last saw you
Vazandar starring Sai Tamhankar and Priya Bapat tells the story of two overweight women Kaveri (Sai) and Pooja (Priya), who start a diet together to shed the extra kilos. The Sachin Kundalkar directional, through these women’s journey, makes the point of how size doesn’t matter and that inner beauty counts. Overweight people are often subjected to fat shaming and even the most subtle things that people say, can hurt them, starting with the commonly used phrase, ‘Oh, you’ve grown bigger since I last saw you.’

Haters, if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it at all!
2. You need to eat less and exercise more
3. Are you sure you want to eat that?
4. Have you tried this new diet?
No one can force you to do anything. Go on a diet or don’t on one at all, it should be YOUR choice and not theirs. To all the people who do this, back off and follow the Gandhian principle of live and let live.
5. The floor shakes, when you walk
6. Thin people are healthier
Let us bust this age-old myth about fat people being unhealthy and thin people being healthy. Yes, being overweight can cause health issues but it’s not like being thin is the answer to solve all medical problems. There are enough oversized people who are hale and hearty and enough thin ones that have multiple ailments. So chill!
7. How will you get married with that weight?
Now don’t you start falling for this ridiculous mentality. There are billions of oversized people who are happily married and accepted for who they are. And fat shamers, please worry about your own life instead of bringing down others.
