1. Naal

This Sudhakar Reddy Yakanti film featuring Srinivas Pokale, Devika Daftardar and Nagraj Manjule, the story of a small boy Chaitanya, who discovers that his birth mother isn’t the one who has nurtured him since 9 years. The little lad then sets out on a journey to find his biological mother. This is a heartwarming film that will make all kids cherish the relationship with their mothers.

2. Pipsi

The Marathi movie starring Sahil Joshi and Maithili Patwardhan, tells the story of a girl Chaani and boy Balu, who try and save the former’s ailing mother. Chaani’s world comes crashing down when she discovers that her mother is sick and has only three months to live. Balu tells her about a saint in the village who tells interesting stories and takes her there to cheer her up.

The saint talks about a king whose spirit resides in a fish and as long as it’s alive, the king can’t be harmed. Hence, Chaani and Balu start believing that if they save a fish and keep it alive, her mother would get better.We are then taken on a journey of how these kids go the extra mile to take care of their fish, Pipsi

3. Elizabeth Ekadashi

This film starring Shrirang Mahajan, Sayali Bhandarkavathekar, and Pushkar Lonarkar, tells the story of siblings Dnyanesh and Mukta, who hail from a poor family, based in Pandharpur. Dnyanesh adores his s bicycle ‘Elizabeth,’ which is gifted to him by his father. Due to financial constraints, Dnyanesh’s mother is forced to sell the cycle. Can Dnyanesh, Mukta and their friends manage their favourite cycle back? Watch the film here

4. Yellow

This film features Mrinal Kulkarni and Gauri Gadgil. Yellow tells the tale of a mother Mughda, whose daughter Gauri has Down Syndrome. Mughda wishes for her daughter to be independent and to receive the best education possible. Will she succeed in making the same happen? Watch this heartwarming and inspiring tale here

5. Aatli Batli Phutli
